I have volunteered at the Special Olympics Bowling event in Bismarck in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. This has always been one of my favorites because these athletes are truly inspiring.
I volunteered at the 5th grade track meet in Bismarck 2016. I was a helper at the high jump pit and my main job was to motivate and encourage students to do their best.
I have volunteered in the University of Mary's Day of Service. The university has a day where students have the opportunity to volunteer around the community. I personally walked through neighborhoods and collected cans from caring people for donation.
I volunteered to aid at a field trip for a Northridge Elementary first grade classroom to a science museum.
I volunteered at Solheim Elementary in the Physical Education classroom in May 2016.
I volunteered at Dorothy Moses in the Physical Education classroom in May 2016.
I am a leader on the University of Mary's track and field team. Track and field is a sport where performance is based more on mentality than the physical fitness of an athlete. Therefore, at track meets it is my job to be a leader and pick up the athletes on my team and help them prepare for the next meet.
I demonstrate leadership at the Salvation Army by being a good role model and teaching leadership qualities to these students.
